Terms
How we work with you, written the way we would explain it across the bench.

Quotes
A quote is a fixed price for the plan we drew together. It holds a build slot for two weeks. If you change the plan, we will tell you what the change costs before we do it, and you can say no.
Deposits and payments
We take the deposit when you book a slot, a middle payment at week six of the build, and the final payment at handover. The split is shown on the process page. We hand over the van and keys when the final payment is made. Payments are due within seven days of our invoice.
Cancelling
If you cancel before the build starts, we keep the part of the deposit that covers the design work and parts we have already ordered, and return the rest within fourteen days. If you cancel during the build, we will invoice the work done and the parts bought, and return anything left of your payments.
Build times
We give a slot and an expected duration. Delays sometimes happen: a part arrives late, or your van needs more work than we could see. We will tell you as soon as we know, and we will not start another van in your slot.
Your van
If you supply the van, it is yours throughout. It stays in our workshop while we work on it. We will tell you about anything we find that changes the plan, such as rust or an existing fault, before going further.
Workmanship promise
If something we built fails in the first two years, we fix it. This covers our work and the parts we fitted. It does not cover normal wear, damage after handover, changes made by someone else, or the van itself and its original parts.
Vans for sale
A finished van is sold as described on its page and in its build sheet. Reserving a van means we hold it for you while we agree the details, and we may release it if we cannot agree within a reasonable time. You are welcome to see and check it before you pay.
This website
The words and photographs on this site belong to Vanwright. You may share a link freely. Please do not copy the content for another business. We try to keep the site accurate, but prices and slots can change, and the quote we send you is the one that counts.
Limits
We are responsible for the work we do. We are not responsible for loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for things outside our control, such as delays from a supplier.
Changes
If we update these terms, the new version applies to quotes made after the date at the top.
