Rosa races. She wanted two bikes, two sets of wet kit and a place to dry them without the whole van smelling of chain oil.

We raised the bed and left the space beneath open from the back doors, with a ply floor, tie-down rails and a vented drying cupboard beside the side door. The bikes go in wheels first and stay upright.

The kitchen is small on purpose. Rosa said she would rather have the garage.
